Put Your Twitter Feed On Your Website Using jQuery

Twitter has become an amazing way to share thoughts, ideas, and information (not to mention what you are actually doing). Displaying your Twitter feed on your website is a great way to promote your Twitter to increase your followers.

Luckily you can do this very easily in jQuery with the Tweetable plug in. It is very easy to implement. All you have to do is create an empty div tag and simply call the Tweetable extension with a few options. It could not be simpler to implement.

First include the appropriate libraries.

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.tweetable.js"></script>

Then create your blank div:

<div id="tweets">
</div>

Then finally, just use a small amount of jQuery code to bring in all your Twitter feed magically.

$(function(){
  $('#tweets').tweetable({username: 'learnjquerynow'});
});
